This multi-year social science research course provides much-needed research space for RPS middle and high school students. This multi-year program offers students a chance to learn qualitative and quantitative research techniques, work in laboratory settings and conduct their own research project for presentation in various community forums, fairs, and competitions.

Dates: Monday - Thursday, June 24 - July 11, 2019 (no class on July 4th)

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Location:  Virgnia Union University, 1500 N. Lombardy Street, Richmond, VA 23220 and various field trip locations
Transportation: Provided at designated pick-up points
Lunch: Provided
Application: Students in grade 6, 7, 8, and 9 currently enrolled in Richmond Public Schools are eligible to apply. Applications will be distributed to students through their individual schools and turned into the school representative. School reps will submit applications to the MSiC by April 24, 2019.  Applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waitlist for consideration.
